Hands-on baby and child First Aid in Manchester and Stockport.

Our Paediatric First Aid courses run in Manchester and Stockport. We also train teams at nurseries, schools and other workplaces.
Choose full Paediatric First Aid for childminding and early years cover, or Emergency Paediatric for core baby and child skills. Ofsted does not approve individual courses: early years training must meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
For childminding and designated early years cover, start with full twelve-hour Paediatric First Aid (PFA). Parents and other roles may find Emergency Paediatric First Aid suitable when no full qualification is required.
See the current EYFS requirements for premises, outings, staff and mealtime cover.
You get hands-on practice with CPR manikins, defibrillators, choking jackets, EpiPen trainers and more. Your trainer shows you each skill, helps you practise and answers your questions.
You also learn how to help an unresponsive baby or child and deal with bleeding, burns and sudden illness. Full Paediatric adds more topics, such as fractures, head injuries and recognising serious childhood illness.
We can teach your team together at your nursery or school. Examples can focus on the ages of the children you care for and the emergencies your staff want to understand.
Private training gives everyone hands-on practice without separate trips to a public course.
Choose the full or emergency course for your role, then use the course page for dates, venues and private training options.
