Training shaped around what your family wants to learn.

For adult First Aid, ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ is a useful one-day starting point, despite its workplace name. For baby and child emergencies, choose ‘Emergency Paediatric First Aid’. A private family session can bring those skills together.
If you also need a certificate for work or registration, choose the qualification required for that role.
Families often want to practise cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), choking response, helping an unresponsive person and responding to injuries or sudden illness. Tell us about the ages involved and the situations you want to understand.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid is a practical option for learning core baby and child emergencies. Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is useful beyond work too, despite its workplace name.
If you need a qualification for childcare or employment, choose the certificate required for that role. Designated early years cover and childminding usually need full Paediatric First Aid (PFA, the 12-hour course) rather than the emergency award.
Private family training lets us shape examples and practice around what you want to learn. Tell us who is attending, the age groups and any particular concerns.
We can teach adult, baby and child skills together. If you also want a specific qualification, its required content and assessment still apply.
Explore a public course or tell us what you would like from a customised family session.
