Here’s the small print that enables us to provide you with the very best training experience!
At Manchester First Aid Training, we do everything we can to ensure you receive the best training experience possible. To help us do that, we have a few terms and conditions that you need to be aware of.
All of our CPR practice manikins are thoroughly cleaned before every training session. We also provide attendees with multi-purpose surface wipes, which state that they kill 99.99% of germs. Individuals with sensitive skin should be aware of this regime. We can also provide facial shields; however, this must be requested prior to the day of the training. We accept no responsibility for attendees reacting to any wipes used.
Manchester First Aid Training Ltd has achieved Gold status from TQUK and full approval from the First Aid Industry Body. We set high standards for ourselves when it comes to teaching your staff, and want you to get the most out of the experience.
As such, we do expect all attendees to participate in the training activities. If any attendee cannot physically perform CPR, or other activities, we ask that you inform your trainer as soon as possible. The trainer will then assess whether the candidate can still achieve First Aider status.
We will incorporate several breaks throughout the day, depending on the course. Typically, this includes a 10-minute break during the morning and afternoon of a training session, and a 30-minute break for lunch. This helps provide attendees with time to recharge, mentally process the training so far, and allows an opportunity to ask the trainer additional questions. We are not able to provide break-free training.
We will gather information for your official certification during the training course. If your details are NOT clearly provided, the certificate may be issued with the wrong detail. Replacement certificates will incur an additional charge.
If we’re training you at your workplace, we will need you to provide a spacious room for training.
We don’t expect you to have a dedicated training room, but to ensure the course is enjoyable and comfortable for your staff and our trainers, we ask that you provide a clean, spacious room for the training event. The room should be large enough to accommodate seating for all staff and trainers, as well as space for a projector, stand, and several adult-sized CPR manikins. The room should also be kept at a reasonable temperature.
We may need to refuse training if these conditions cannot be achieved.
If training at your site, we need adequate nearby parking for at least one vehicle per training session. However, we understand that not every business premise will be able to provide on-site parking. In this case, we will need to use the nearest available public car park and the cost will need to be covered by the customer.
Additionally, your trainer will need to bring a large amount of equipment into the training session and will need help from at least one staff member. Please keep this in mind and ensure that someone is available to assist.
To secure your course, full payment will need to be taken within 48 hours of booking. If you operate a delayed payment system, please speak to our office to ensure this is known. If payment is not made within 48 hours, you will receive email payments reminders and your booking slot may be released to another customer.
Certificates are issued within 7 days of successful completion of a paid course. If you do not receive them within this time, please get in touch.
Any requests for certificates not received after three months, or requests for duplicate certificates, will incur an administration charge (£15 per certificate).
If you decide to cancel:
Cancellation must be made by telephone with a member of our team.
Please note that ‘postponing’ a course is the same as cancelling a course, and the above conditions apply in this case.
