Skills that can help at work, at home and in public.

Yes. First Aid training helps you learn what to do if someone collapses, chokes or is injured, and gives you a chance to practise before an emergency.
You get hands-on practice with CPR manikins, defibrillators, choking jackets, EpiPen trainers and more, with a trainer there to help you.
Knowing the idea behind CPR is different from practising it on a manikin. Training gives you time to try the skills, ask questions and receive feedback, rather than work everything out in an emergency.
The same skills can help you respond to a choking family member, an unwell friend or someone who collapses in a public place.
A receptionist may need to help a visitor who collapses. Kitchen staff may encounter a burn or choking. A workshop team may need broader injury training. Private teaching uses examples relevant to your workplace while covering the qualification content.
Training staff together also lets you discuss how your own team will get help and where your equipment is kept.
Our EFAW course includes a First Aid manual and online learning resources. Qualifying courses also include online refresher access, helping you revisit the topics after training.
For a team, on-site training can reduce separate travel and bring learners together. See our Emergency First Aid at Work course for group prices and what is included.
See learners taking part in our course gallery and read customer feedback on our homepage. They give you a feel for the practical training experience.
Choose EFAW for appropriate core workplace cover or First Aid at Work (FAW) for training in a wider range of injuries and illnesses.
Book a place on a public course, or arrange a private course at your workplace, customised to your team.
