Manchester Healthcare & Care Home First Aid Training Courses

First Aid Training Requirements
for Care Homes, Carers & Healthcare Providers
Across Manchester & the North West

First Aid requirements can be confusing.

And if you work in healthcare, it can be particularly difficult trying to
understand exactly what your legal obligations are.

Manchester First Aid Training can help.

The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all businesses
(including care homes and nursing homes) to have personnel that are able
to provide immediate attention to those injured or taken ill.

So, First Aid training is essential for all healthcare providers.

Whether you’re a carer or run a nursing home, it’s never been more important
to protect the people you look after – and ensure you comply with the latest
legislation requirements.

What Course Do You Need?

It really depends on your specific healthcare setting requirements.

Most nursing homes want their staff trained in Basic Life Support (BLS).

This 90-minute / 3-hour course covers all essential life-saving skills, such as CPR, unconscious casualties, choking, and using defibrillators.

➡️ Just a couple of people? Book onto a public course.

➡️ Want us to come to you? We’ll train your whole team. Learn more.
