For learning or refreshing your knowledge, yes. For a workplace or Paediatric First Aid qualification, online learning alone is not enough: you also need practical training and assessment.

Three Different Uses of Online Learning
A certificate of online completion describes that learning. It is not necessarily the qualification your employer or registration needs.
Why Hands-On Practice Matters
You cannot learn every practical skill by watching a video. On our courses, you try the techniques using CPR manikins, defibrillators, choking jackets, EpiPen trainers and more.
Your trainer shows you what to do and gives you feedback. Practical assessment checks that you can perform the skills, not just remember the answers.
Our Blended Course Formats
Standard Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a one-day practical course. For private groups, a separate blended EFAW option combines two hours online and four hours in person.
Full First Aid at Work (FAW) offers two days online plus one practical day. Full Paediatric First Aid combines six hours online and six hours in person.

Choose the Learning You Actually Need
For personal knowledge or keeping earlier learning fresh, online study can be worthwhile. If you are acting as a workplace First Aider or need a childcare certificate, select the appropriate practical qualification.
If you choose a blended course, complete both its online and practical parts.
